The AFFF (Aqueous Film-Forming Foam) Foam Fire Extinguisher protects against fires of class A and B. These are liquid related fires involving liquids or materials that liquefy such as paints, oils, wax and fuels.
This extinguisher functions by applying a layer of foam over the fire thereby cutting off the supply of oxygen without which the fire burns out.
Certified & Approved to AS/NZS 1841.4 with a fire rating of 3A:30B, the AFFF Foam Fire Extinguisher has a stainless steel cylinder, brass valve and a powder coated red finish.
